Education Day FAQ

1. How can I register?

Please visit our event page and follow the steps. Once all fields are completed, a confirmation email will be sent to you, containing your ticket.

2. Do I have to pay a registration fee?

No. Thanks to Independence Australia and our generous event sponsors, Education Days are completely free to attend.

3. Do I need to bring my ticket with me to the event?

Yes. Please bring either a printed or electronic copy of your ticket on the day, to present to staff at the registration table.

4. Does this event count towards my annual CPD requirements?

Proof of attendance at Independence Australia’s Education Day’s may be used towards your CPD requirement. However, the event holds no specific CPD point value.

5. Will I receive a certificate as proof of attendance?

Yes. You will receive a Certificate of Attendance to the email address provided upon registration. Please allow up to 2 weeks for this to arrive in your inbox. If you do not receive a certificate of attendance after 2 weeks, please contact our Events Team via Events@iagroup.org.au.

6. Will morning tea and lunch be provided?

Yes. Morning tea and a light lunch will be provided – free of charge – to all delegates on the day. Water, tea, juice and coffee will also be available.

If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know when you register.

7. I would love to come along but cannot stay for the whole day. Can I arrive late or leave early?

Whilst we would love for all our delegates to make the most of our Education Day, we understand this is not always possible.

If you arrive a little late, please make yourself known to an Independence Australia team member when you arrive so we can get you checked in for the event.

If you wish to leave early, we encourage you to do so respectfully between speaker presentations to minimise disruption to your fellow delegates on the day.

8. Will the speaker slides be available after the event?

We may not be able to guarantee that presentations will be recorded or shared with delegates. To ensure you don’t miss any vital information, please take your own notes throughout presentations and the day.

9. What happens if I can no longer attend?

If you can no longer attend, please contact our Events Team via Events@iagroup.org.au.
