Independence Australia Art Show & Competition Conditions of Entry
Eligibility:
Entry is open to artists who are members of the disability community.
Artists must be 16 years and over to enter the Independence Australia Art Show and Competition.
Entrants must submit original artworks created by themselves.
Collaborative artworks may be permitted, provided all artists are acknowledged in the entry form.
Sculptural artworks may not be accepted due to exhibition space limitations.
Entry Requirements:
All artworks must be submitted by the advertised deadline (4pm Thursday 24th September 2026). No late entries will be accepted.
A non-refundable entry fee of $10 per artwork is required at the time of submission. Entries without the entry fee may not be accepted. Please chat to the Organiser’s if financial hardship is a barrier to entering.
This entry form must be completed, and the terms and conditions must be signed, for each artwork submission.
The decision of the Organisers regarding exhibition inclusion and related matters is final.
The artist retains all ownership and copyright of their artwork - the Organisers do not claim ownership of any artwork submitted.
Artwork submitted to the Independence Australia Art Show and Competition may be photographed, filmed, or otherwise reproduced for promotional purposes (e.g. social media, websites, newsletters, event materials, etc).
The artist must obtain all necessary permissions and consents (for instance, from a person who is the subject of the artwork) prior to submitting the original artwork. The artwork must not breach any law, or contain material that is offensive, scandalous or defamatory.
Where prizes are offered, the Organisers and/or judges’ decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. Recognition (e.g., certificates, commendations) may also be awarded at the Organisers’ discretion.
Exhibition of Artwork and Competition:
Accepted artworks will be displayed as part of the Independence Australia Art Show exhibited at Cube37 (Frankston) from 01 October until 01 November 2026.
If you wish to sell your artwork, you must be indicate the intended sale price of the artwork on the entry form. If no price is nominated it will not be for sale.
The Gallery (Cube37) will take a 25% commission on any artwork sold – please factor this into your price.
Photography and filming may occur at the exhibition opening night and throughout the exhibition for promotional and archival purposes. Attendees and artists may appear in these photos or recordings. If you do not wish to be featured, please speak with the organisers on the day of the event. Art delivery and collection:
The Artist is responsible for delivery and collection of their entry.
