Lisa Wragg - Event Emcee

Nurse Continence Specialist

Lisa Wragg has 35 years’ experience working as a Nurse Continence Specialist and is the Director of Continence First P/L, which has been operational since 2018. Her highly successful continence assessment and management service works with participants of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), recipients of Home Care Packages (HCP) and Short-Term Restorative Care Programs (STRC), Transport Accident Commission (multiple states), Workcover and private clients.

Lisa’s breadth of continence experience spans the life cycle working with children, teens and adults with complex disabilities, spinal cord injuries, behavioural and trauma related continence issues that are associated with bladder and bowel dysfunction.

Lisa has contributed extensively to this area of medicine, authoring multiple publications and chairing multiple steering committees relating to the development and review of continence resource information, online education programs, credentialing and customer care service delivery models for continence and urological care.

Anita Brown-Major

Occupational Therapist and Founder of Thrive Rehab

Anita Brown-Major is an Occupational Therapist with more than 27 years’ experience and a commitment to inclusive, sex-positive healthcare. She is the co-creator of Cliterate, a 3D anatomical model designed with RMIT Industrial Design to make vulval and clitoral anatomy and physiology easier for everyone to understand. The model is now used widely in education and clinical settings to promote accurate, accessible, and empowering sexual health knowledge.

Anita is also an active member of the International Cliterati and a respected educator known for making complex concepts clear, engaging, and relevant to everyday life, intimacy, and pleasure.

Belinda Free

Nurse Practitioner Wound Care 2U

Belinda Free, Masters of Nursing, Nurse Practitioner 2018 (Flinders University), Bachelor of Nursing, Registered Nurse 2005 (UTAS), Graduate Certificate Wound Care 2012 (Monash University). Previous Wound CNC at RHH. Currently working with THS Hospital @ Home as a NP and privately operating a mobile wound education and consulting business “Wound Care 2U”.

I have a strong drive to support elderly people in Aged Care settings and now take my knowledge and skills to them. In turn I am rewarded when wounds heal, when associated pain and distress resolves and when hospital admissions can be avoided.

I genuinely also like sharing knowledge and continue to teach a range of wound prevention and management strategies across my work sites.

Vicki Salter

Director of VS Consulting (Tas) Pty Ltd and an experienced complex care clinician

Vicki (Vik) Salter is the Director of VS Consulting (Tas) Pty Ltd and an experienced complex care clinician with a multidisciplinary background across disability, behaviour support, continence management, and community-based health care. Vicki is a Registered Nurse with specialised expertise as a Nurse Continence Specialist and Behaviour Support Practitioner, working primarily with individuals presenting with complex disability, psychosocial impairment, neurodevelopmental conditions, dementia, neurological disease, trauma histories, and behaviours of concern.

Her clinical work focuses on integrated, trauma-informed care that recognises the relationship between physical health, continence, communication, environmental stressors, and behaviour. Vicki provides comprehensive assessment, clinical consultation, functional capacity reporting, behaviour support planning, continence assessment, restrictive practice reduction strategies, staff education, and multidisciplinary collaboration across NDIS and complex care settings.

As a complex care nurse, Vicki supports participants with high-intensity and overlapping needs, including:

  • Continence assessment and management
  • Bowel and bladder health support
  • Skin integrity and pressure injury prevention
  • Chronic health condition management
  • Neurological and psychosocial disability support
  • Dementia and cognitive decline support
  • Behavioural escalation prevention and response planning
  • Risk assessment and clinical governance
  • Functional assessment and capacity evaluation
  • Trauma-informed staff education and systems support

Vicki is recognised for her practical and ethical approach to care, with a strong focus on dignity, human rights, restrictive practice reduction, and improving quality of life outcomes for participants and support teams. Her work combines nursing knowledge with behavioural understanding to develop sustainable, person-centred strategies that support long-term stability and participation.
