Where is Cube 37 Art Gallery?

The Cube 37 Gallery is located on the corner of Davey & Young Streets, Frankston. 37 Davey Street, next door to Main FAC building.

Parking?

Frankston Arts Centre all day undercover car park is centrally located, entry via Young St. Please take a ticket at the car park entry and then pay at the machine after the show before heading back to your car. Drive to the exit - the boom gate will recognise your number plate and rise automatically (no need to insert/scan your ticket).

Pay stations are located on levels 1, 2 & 3 of the car park. They accept credit card*, notes and coins.

Getting there

Frankston Arts Centre is situated on the corner of Davey and Young Streets, just 500 metres from the heart of Frankston.

  • By car: Located only a few minutes from EastLink/Frankston Freeway, and the Moorooduc and Nepean Highways, Frankston Arts Centre is easy to access no matter which direction you’re travelling. Our convenient undercover parking is accessible via Young Street.
  • By public transport: Frankston Arts Centre is a quick 6 minute walk from the Frankston Train Station (Frankston Line), or take a bus directly to our Davey Street entrance (Bus Routes 775, 776, 782, 783).

  • Artwork Entries: 25 August 2025 to 25 September 2025
  • Exhibition: 02 October 2025 to 01 November 2025
  • Opening Night: Thursday 02 October 6-8PM

FAQ

  • Any person over 16yrs of age interested in visual art who is a person living with a disability.
  • SASI charges a $10 submission fee per art piece.
  • You can enter up to 3 art works.
  • There are three prizes assigned on the Opening Night:
    1. Alfred Murfey Prize $200 – Named after one of the founders of SASI, this award is selected by a panel of judges, typically made up of art teachers and curators.
    2. Packer’s Prize $200 – This prize is traditionally named after (and chosen by) the team who "packs" the exhibition, in this case, the staff at Cube 37 Gallery.
    3. People’s Choice Prize $200 – This award is decided by the attendees’ votes on opening night, with votes collected and tallied by our staff during the event.
  • Yes you can sell your artwork if at the time of entry you add the price wanted and the bank account on your entry form submission.
  • Yes, Cube 37 retains 25% of the sale price. You might take this into account when setting up the sale price.
  • Yes you may bring as many people as you like, but we kindly ask you to RSVP to the event via our website : sasi.org.au
  • Yes this is a catered event and alcohol will be served. Once again we ask you to RSVP for catering purposes.
  • We are currently not accepting digital art entries. We will accept painting, collages, embroideries and any 2D artwork. Artworks must be ready for display and include ‘D’ hooks and wire for hanging.
  • We currently do not have size limitations but we have to be mindful of the weight so our staff and gallery staff can be safe.
